Jamshedpur: A counseling training session was organized for city students by the city-based NGO Muskan.
The vice president of the organization Narendra Kumar informed the gathering comprising teachers and principals of various city schools about ways to stop students from falling into depression and resorting to extreme steps in severe conditions.
He said there was a growing tendency among students these days to commit suicide or resort to extreme measures to get rid of their day to day problems.
He said the general stress level was constantly growing among students. He said the teachers and parents could play a positive role in guiding the students.
