Jamshedpur, Dec. 22: No COVID-19 death has been reported in the East Singhbhum district in the last fifteen days as the death toll remains at 374. Active cases have dropped below 200 mark in the district.
On Tuesday, East Singhbhum district reported 31 corona positive cases while 49 people recovered of the virus.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17364. 49 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday taking the total recovery to 16793 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 197.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 166650 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 452865 samples have been collected out of which 443622 have been tested and 426258 have turned out to be negative.
