Chaibasa, Nov 24: In a broad day light robbery case at Dongaposi Canara Bank under Noamundi Police Station area, six persons were arrested by a police team led by Kiriburu DSP Md. Arshi on Monday.
All the accused were produced before the media by Dr. Michael Raj, superintendent of police at his office, While speaking to the local media, SP said, police team nabbed the culprits who allegedly robbed 1.50 lakh rupees at Dongaposi Canara Bank last month .
The accused were identified as Rajat Tidu resident of Latehar, Amar Tidu resident of Khunti, Gobriel Minj of Latehar, Krishna Sinku of Lakhan Sai Noamundi, Ranbir resident of Jampani Noamundi, Anil Pan of Noamudi while two others Surendra Uraon and Sayum Kujur are still at large.
SP announced five thousands rupees as reward to the cops. The cops recovered three revolvers, 6 live bullets, 7 mobile phones and one motorbike from the accused.
According to Noamundi PS in-charge, Brijlal Ram, “In the beginning we were clue less and then we referred to the CCTV footage and tried to gather clues from various sources.
Noamundi OC said that Krishna Sinku who was helping the accused and rented a house in Malluka village. The police team comprised of DSP Md. Arshi, inspector Ananda Minj, ASI AK Gupta, Md Harum Khan and Hav Hare Krishna.
