Cops get training on online payment

Ranchi: A training workshop was organized at the Police Lines in Ranchi on the use of Paytm, the online payment gateway. Senior officials of the State Bank of India trained the police officials on using online payment methods.

The senior superintendent of police (SSP) Kuldip Dwivedi said the Ranchi police had taken the initiative after demonetization to train the cops and enable them to use online payment facilities.

The trainers said that the police officials will now be able to carry out cashless transactions without withdrawing their salaries from bank.

The cops will also be able to train others on making online payments, the trainers said.

Among those present on the occasion included SP city Kishore Kaushal, SP Rural Rajkumar Lakra and DSP Sadar Vikas Chandra Srivastava.
