Jamshedpur, April 17: Police arrested three men in connection with theft case register against the unidentified at Golmuri Police Station on April 1.
Talking to the media persons on Friday, SSP AV Homkar said, the three arrested were involved in theft case taking away cash and jewellery from a house at New Punjabi Line in Refugee Colony under Golmuri Police Station on March 31. The incident took place late in the night.
SSp informed that a special team was formed to crack the matter and they collecting the technical and general information managed to arrest Shambhu Singh and Jeeva Thakur resident of Gadabasa, Mathurabagan under Golmuri P.S. and Sunil Poddar resident of Nanaso Kedar in Sitaramdera, living in a rented house of Vinay Singh.
Poddar�s permanent address is Village Bageda under Sagol Police Station, district Solapur in Maharashtra.
Poddar use to buy the theft material, said Homkar.
Police seized cash worth Rs 1 lakh 12 thousand, 1150 gram melted silver, 400 gram silver ornament, one mobile and Hero Glamour motorcycle.
SSP Homkar further said that Police team is conducting raids and is trying to find out if the arrested were involved in other cases.
