Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer Amit Kumar Friday ordered departmental action against the district cooperative officer (DCO) for alleged dereliction of duty and violation of service rules of conduct. In a letter, the DC ordered issuance of a chargesheet against the DCO. The chargesheet would be sent to the Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, for action against the DCO, he said.
Sources said the DCO is accused of remaining absent at various meetings convened by the DC and staying out of the headquarters without permission.
