25 Principals attends Jogga meet at JRD Sports Complex
Jamshedpur, April 29: The Jamshedpur Old Girls’ and Guys’ Association (Jogga) convened Principal meeting at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Monday, April 29. Attended by 25 principals from various educational institutions, the meeting served as a platform for collaborative discussion and strategic planning.
Presided over by Archana Gupta, President of Jogga, Lalita Sareen, Secretary of Jogga, Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari, Chief of Tata Football Academy (TFA) and Sports, Vibhuti Adesara, Head Sports, and Firoz Khan, Vice President of Jogga, the event aimed to foster a sense of community and cooperation among educational leaders.
Reflecting on past achievements, attention was drawn to last year’s sports championships, where Church School Beldih claimed the overall boys’ championship and Sacred Heart Convent (SHC) School secured the overall girls’ championship. SHC School Principal, Sister Rashmita AC received the award.
Jogga involves schools students (boys and girls) in sports activities such as athletics, football, basketball, handball, volleyball, chess and badminton. It has over 35 city schools as affiliates. The outfit is patronised by Tata Steel sports wing.
The meeting delved into various topics including the promotion of sports culture, enhancing facilities for student athletes, and fostering healthy competition among schools.
Participants exchanged ideas and insights, emphasizing the importance of holistic development through sports and extracurricular activities in educational institutions.
