Contractor shot dead during morning walk near Jubilee Park

Jamshedpur, Aug 1: In a shocking incident, few unidentified men shot down businessman & contractor Ram Shakal Yadav in Jubilee Park on saturday morning.

Yadav succumbed to injuries after receiving multiple bullet shots. The deceased was a resident of Baghbera, who was a successful businessman & contractor.

As informed by PCR DSP Jancita Kerketta, the victim used to go for jogging everyday at the Jubilee Park. After parking his vehicle near Keenan Stadium he would take a walk around the park.

Today morning he followed the similar schedule, he along with his friend Ashok parked their vehicles and as soon as they reached the gate no. 2 of jubilee park four unidentified people shot bullets at Yadav and killed him. As reported four murderers fled from scene on two bikes.

The people present rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead. DSP informed that the police is investigating the matter quite seriously and have covered up all exits of the city to perform rigorous search for the criminals.

City SP Chandan Jha informed that the incident has been caught on the CCTV camera. Many suspects have been arrested & are being interrogated. He assured that the matter would be soon revealed.

The police are performing strict searches throughout the city. In a suspected monetary feud the police are digging up all past links both in social & business matters of the victim. However no information has been clearly made available & the police has refrained from further comments.

The crime took place at a time when the entire administration was busy hosting the Governer of Jharkhand Draupadi Murmu, who spent some time in the city on her way to Odisha.
