Jamshedpur, March 13: A construction worker engaged in the construction of a bridge at Tanginala in Kendua Burudih under Dumariya block of East Singhbhum district, sustained severe injuries after coming in contact with a high tension wire on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred while the laborer was removing a pipe when it touiched the high tension wire. The worker suffered burn injuries in both hands and thighs and a fractured right hand. The injured laborer was rushed to the Dumaria Community Health Centre wher the MO in-charge, dr Saiba Soren provided primary treatment and referred him to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur. The worker was identified as Dulu Sardar (21) of Dhojudi Village in Bankura District of West Bengal.
