Chaibasa, Feb : West Singhbhum district congress party workers were arrested by the police administration on Wednesday allegedly over bid to burn the effigy of Raghubar Das in protest against hike in holding tax.
The activists were later released on bond. The congress party accused the administration of behaving as a dictator.
The party workers arrested were district congress party president Sunny Sinku, Trishanu Roy, Nagar Adhyaksya Sunita Sharma, Chhota Purty, Laxman Samad and other party activists.
