Jamshedpur, May 21: in a virtual press meet convened by the Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP, district president Gunjan Yadav lashed out at the Congress party and accused it of craving for power at the cost of national interest and reputation. “The toolkit politics of the Congress is aimed at confusing the nation and vilifying the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Their character of deception includes attempts to spoil the national image on the international stage,” stated Gunjan.
The BJP Mahanagar president said that at a time when the entire country was joining shoulders and fighting to counter the devastating effects of the second wave of COVID, Congress was engaged in anti national activities. “With the Congress toolkit now exposed, the nefarious mentality of the party and its anti national designs has come out in the open. The toolkit directives running into six pages contain directives to party workers and leaders to name the Indian COVID strain Modi strain; to propagate the religious faith that the Mahakumbh is as Super spreader.”
Yadav said that the toolkit is aimed at pushing the Congress hunger for power during the pandemic times by maligning the BJP and Narendra Modi so that they were put in negative light. Gunjan said that the toolkit contained instructions to congress cadre members to click photographs of lit funeral pyres and dead bodies. “Even vultures do not behave in such a debased manner. The Congress toolk9it has been designed by Soumya Verma who did her masters in history from JNU and is currently working in Congress leader Rajiv Gauda’s office.
