Jamshedpur: District Congress committee members staged a dharna before the office of the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum on Thursday to protest alleged extortion of money from ITI-passed students by the training department officials in the name of giving them industrial training.
The agitation was led by district Congress president Vijay Khan. Among others present during the agitation included Paritosh Singh, Jyotish Kumar, Jaiprakash Sharma, Rajesh Shukla, SRA Rizvi Chhabban, Pawan Tiwary and Jammi Bhaskar.
