Jamshedpur: The state Youth Congress members today met the superintendent of police, city, Kartik S, and demanded arresting of the principal of Jamshedpur Women�s College Sumita Mukherjee for allegedly assaulting Nalini Sinha, the state Youth Congress general secretary.
The outfit members handed over a memorandum to the SP and alleged that the principal had abused Nalini Sinha in the former�s chamber in the college when the latter had gone there to demand information under the Right to Information Act.
Sinha alleged that she was hit with a scale by the principal. She said she started bleeding as her hand and neck were injured in the �assault�.
