Jamshedpur : Congress Party on Wednesday took out a rally in the city to protest against three years of what it terms as �misrule� of Narendra Modi led Government in the centre. The rally was flagged off by DrAjoy Kumar, national spokesperson of Congress Party.
He attacked the Raghubar Das government for misleading people and acting on the directions of the Prime Minister and the BJP chief.Kumar alleged Chief Minister Das has failed on every front and during past one year he has made only announcements. He claimed that the Raghubar -led government in the state had made several announcements at the time of elections but miserably failed to deliver on all fronts in its one-year-rule.
He noted that the Chief Minister has so far taken no positive steps in the direction of providing ownership rights to 156 bustee dwellers.
Coming down heavily on the NDA government, Kumar added it was anti-poor, anti-Dalit and anti adivasi.When questioned about his views on the completion of one year of NDA Government in State, Kumar claimed that the law and order has hit an all time low with broad daylight incidents of crime becoming a regular feature. He added that the situation at Jharkhand has become a matter of great concern. He also said that the criminals have regained confidence after law and order machinery has gone for a toss.
Charging the Narendra Modi government with “broken promises and non performance” in its three years in office, the Congress leader said it has launched a nation-wide stir. He said the BJP government wanted to distract attention essential issues by raising emotive issues. “Any discussion on issues such as unemployment, agriculture inflation is sought to be suppressed through diversions,” he said.

He said that against Modi’s promise of 2 crore jobs annually, only 1.35 lakh jobs were created in 2015. We need to create over 34 crore jobs by 2028 but what is the state of domestic investment and bank credit, both are at their historic lowest.
“We demand a white paper on the government’s employment strategy. The country is not interested in speeches and assurances, we want this government to come out with hard facts on how it plans to create jobs for the next two years,” he added.
He further added that the BJP was only an election fighting machine now. The Congress leaders said that party will strive hard to come to power in states going to polls before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls including Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
