Jamshedpur, July 23: A people�s court was organized in Sanjay Nagar at Bagbera. Congress members led by Women�s Congress district president Usha Yadav conducted the camp aimed at women�s empowerment and the role of the Congress to hold aloft the rights of women and giving them their due respect. The people�s court was set up as per directives of All India Women�s Congress general secretary-cum-Jharkhand in-charge Neta D�Souza and state president Gunjan Singh.
The women were made aware of the failure of the Jharkhand government on all fronts. Later an eight point charter of demands related to the issues was handed to the Circle Officer.
Later, Usha Yadav claimed that only the Congress party continued to work for women�s emancipation. Women can attain their due respect in the Congress party, she stated. Among those present on the occasion included Rakesh Sahu, SRK Kamlesh, Aruna Mukhi, Dipak Gupta, Mina Patro and Kalawati Devi.
