Jamshedpur, July 3: East Singhbhum district Congress committee leaders organized a havan ceremony at Bhootnath temple in CH Area, Sonari, for the fulfilment of their various demands and prevention of �untoward incidents� in the state. �We pray to the Almighty to make sure that good sense prevails in Jharkhand and the state government takes steps for the poor and downtrodden classes. We also pray for better law and order situation and safety of minorities,� said a party leader.
State Congress president Dr Ajoy Kumar led the party workers on this occasion. He was accompanied by district Congress president Vijay Khan, Ashok Choudhary, Ramashraya Prasad, Bablu Jha, Rakesh Sahu, Surendra Sharma, Sanjay Singh Azad and Paritosh Singh.
