Ranchi, May 24 A joint delegation of JMM and Congress lodged a complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer against Godda MP Nishikant Dubey.
The delegation said that on May 23, Nishikant Dubey has given a statement regarding ED summons to ministers Badal Patralekh and Hafizul Hasan.
The news of ED issuing summons to Badal Patralekh and Hafizul Hasan was also broadcast in some news channels. But this matter was neither officially confirmed nor denied by ED officials. No ED summons has been received by Badal Patralekh and Hafizul Hasan.
It is said that Badal Patralekh and Hafijul Hasan are MLAs-cum-ministers elected from Jarmundi and Madhupur assembly under Godda Lok Sabha constituency.
The Congress and JMM leaders alleged that the statement was given by BJP candidate Nishikant Dubey as part of a well-planned conspiracy with the intention of influencing the elections.
