Congress demands improvement in medical facilities in MGM

Jamshedpur, April 8: Demanding improvement in medical facilities in MGM Hospital, congress workers held protest in the hospital premises on Saturday.

The party workers also submitted a four point demand memorandum to the hospital superintendent. According to the memorandum, the party workers demanded ban on private practice of MGM hospital doctors.

Other demands include repair of air conditioners at the burn unit, doctors should stop writing the medicines which are not available in the hospital and the management should focus on cleanliness and hygiene should be maintained while preparing and serving food.

The congress leaders threatened to launch indefinite strike if their demands are not met within 15 days. The protestors included Sanjeev Srivastav, Firoz Alam, Laddan Khan, Md. Iftikar, Munna Mishra, Vipin Singh, Bablu Kayum, Mehfuz, Lalbabu, md. Naushad, Ahsan and others.
