Jamshedpur, Dec 24: The victory of Congress candidate Banna Gupta in the West Jamshedpur Assembly constituency and the joy of the JMM-Congress alliance forming the state government saw Congress members celebrate with distribution of sweets among the people at Mango Chowk. They garlanded the statue of Khudiram Bose at the Chowk. The jubilant Congress members were led by the party�s Mango unit president Baldev Singh. Crackers were burst on the occasion.
The Congress members said that Banna Gupta�s win was the people�s victory. They stated that the Congress-JMM combine will live up to the people�s expectations.
Among the Congress party members present on the occasion were Youth Congress state secretary Rakesh Sahu, Ravi Shankar KP, Jitendra Singh, Jitu Singh, Mohan Singh, Raju Sardar, MGM unit president Munna Mishra, senior party leader Ashok Singh, Maulana Ansar Khan, women�s wing leader Rita Gupta, Dipak Gupta, Chandan Singh and many others.
