Jamshedpur: District Congress members put up a demonstration before the office of Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) on Tuesday to raise various issues related to civic amenities in Mango.
Leading the demonstration, district Congress president Vijay Khan and general secretary Maulana Ansar Khan asked the special officer of MNAC to resolve the civic issues.
They threatened that the party will organize a massive agitation and economic blockade.
The party leaders raised slogans against the MNAC officials and accused some of them of involvement in corrupt practices. They said that strict action should be taken against the corrupt officials.
Among those present on the occasion included Usha Singh, Manjeet Anand, Sunita Das, Palvinder Mangat, Geeta Singh, Ramprakash Choudhary, Prince Singh, Sushila Panday, Aparna Guha and Reeta Gupta.
