Seraikela: District Congress committee members put up a demonstration against demonetization at the district headquarters here on Saturday.
They were led by district Congress president Debu Chatterjee.
They raised anti-government slogans and alleged that the common man was suffering due to the decision taken by the Central government to ban currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denominations.
Among others present during the demonstration included Roshan Khan and Tirka Mukherjee.
