Confusion over new train timetable in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 2: The newly implemented train timetable by South Eastern Railway has caused chaos and confusion among passengers in Jamshedpur, following its launch on January 1, 2025. The timetable was introduced by General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra in Kolkata, with senior officials like AGM Soumitra Majumdar and Principal Chief Operation Manager Deepak Jha also present. However, passengers at Tatanagar Railway Station were left bewildered as they struggled to adjust to the changes.

One passenger, Pradeep Kumar, expressed frustration, saying, “I had no idea that the timings had changed. The announcer made several mistakes, and there was no clear information available at the station.” As a result, a large crowd gathered at the inquiry center to seek clarification.
