Jamshedpur, Feb. 13: Tata Steel today organized a conference on the theme �Leveraging Simulation & Optimization Techniques for Productivity Enhancement� at SNTI Auditorium, Bistupur. The conference was organized as part of the Productivity Week 2018 celebrations. The event was inaugurated by Dr Debashish Bhattacharjee, Vice President, New Materials Business, Tata Steel.
The conference was attended by nearly 200 delegates from various companies namely Vedanta, Hindalco, TVS Motors, JSPL, SAIL, Usha Martin, Tata Motors, Tata Technologies, Cummins and TIS Group of companies. There was participation by academic institutions as well. Several papers were presented and deliberations were made on the theme by the delegates. The best technical papers were also awarded during the event.
During the event eminent experts on the subject namely Professor Narayan Rangaraj, IIT Bombay, Professor Goutam Dutta, IIM Ahmedabad and Praveen Tirumandyam, Dassault Systems India shared their valuable thoughts.
