Gamharia, May 28: The summer camp organized for students at Xavier School in Gamharia between May 14 and 18 in the school premises concluded on Saturday. Apart from excercises and programmes conceived on many subjects for the participating students patterened on fun-learning, sports events including basketball, javelin throw, football and an array of atheletic events, made the summer camp exciting.
School Principal, Fr Dr Tony Raj, SJ, in his address to the audience that included parents of the camp participants, said, “I urge all parents and participants of the summer camp to exercise daily to ensure good mental and physical health. Routine exercises will reduce stress and protect the body from infections.”
Participating children at the camp displayed their talents in sports and other activities organized during the camp and learned ethical values. Certificates were distributed among the participating students. School Administrator, Br Amalraj was present during the concluding function. The summer camp was organized by senior students, the faculty members and the non-teaching staff members.
