Jamshedpur, Oct 19: The family of Vikas Chandravanshi, a 21-year-old resident of Khadiya Basti under Ulidih police station, is increasingly worried as Vikas has been missing from his home since October 8. Despite a dozen days passing since his disappearance, there is no trace of him. On Thursday, Vikas’s family sought assistance from the SSP to locate their missing son.
According to Vikas’s father, Baldev Chandravanshi, Vikas had left for a music class in Ulidih on October 8. After returning home around 3 in the afternoon, he had lunch, gave his mother five hundred rupees to buy vegetables, and left on his bike, assuring them he would return by 4 pm. Unfortunately, he never returned.
Distraught by the absence of any information after 12 days, Vikas’s family reported the situation to the Ulidih police station. The elderly parents are in distress, fearing the worst. The family, accompanied by BJP leader Vikas Singh, met with the SSP to explain the situation and request assistance in locating Vikas. The SSP assured the family that the police would make every effort to locate Vikas promptly.
