Ranchi, June 1: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that we are dedicated to the villages and the poor. Our government is committed to providing water facility in every village. He was addressing state bureaucrats at his residence. He instructed them to complete the work of schemes by 30th September.
In the meeting, Drinking Water Sanitation Secretary Aradhna Patnaik said that there are 2250 primitive tribe groups (PTGs) in the state. �Water facility will be provided to the PTG members by 15th August. Water facility has been provided to 100 groups so far. Similarly, the remaining 11124 SC-ST groups of the state will be covered with the facility by 30th September. The construction of street lights in every village will also be completed within the stipulated time frame,� she said.
The CM said that under the Ayushman India, 24 lakh families of 57 lakh families of the state have been provided card by the government. The remaining 33 lakh families will be provided cards soon, he said.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal and Panchayati Raj Secretary Pravin Toppo were also present at the meeting.
