Jamshedpur : The WRP and Bleaching Plant of Tata Steel near Burmamines plant are releasing harmful gases that are leading to breathing and eye irritation problem. Delegation of social organisation Satyagrah legal cell submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor claiming that several schools like Sister Nivedita Girls High School, Khalsa School, Jack and Jill School, BPM Plus Two High School are situated in the area and people are finding it difficult to cope with the pollution.
Praveen Kumar, Feroz Akhtar , Mukand Kumar, Lataif Sharif, Manjit Singh , Sudhir Tiwari, Manjit Kumar, Pappu Yadav were a part of the delegation that submitted the memo.
