Jamshedpur, April 27: Parents outfit of Jamshedpur complained with district superintendent of education(DSE) against DBMS High School in Kadma for negligence.
In this regard, the parents of the student, including president of the Jamshedpur Abhibhavak Sangh Umesh Singh, have lodged a complaint with District Superintendent of Education (DSE).
Along with this, the school management has been accused of neglecting the weak and underprivileged students enrolled on the quota seats. It has been told that Dev Kumar, a student studying in class 4A, was enrolled under the RTE-2009 on the reserved seat of the school. His roll number is 22. In the morning, on the first floor of the school, Dev Kumar rolled down the stairs after being pushed by a student.
During this, not only did his body get hurt, his left ear was also cut, due to which blood started coming out. Despite this, instead of providing proper treatment to the injured student, the school management absolved itself of its responsibility by applying antiseptic cream on the cut area.
Apart from this, the parents of the injured student were also not informed by the school management about his injury. When the parents of the child reached at 11.30 am at the time of dispersal of school, they came to know about their child’s injuries.
When the parent of the child asked the school management for the information about the child who had pushed, the school management was reluctant to give the information after seeing the camera.
On behalf of the union, it has been said that not providing timely proper treatment to the injured student shows the double mindedness of the school management towards the weaker section students.
