Jamshedpur: State minister Saryu Roy and the MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato jointly inaugurated community buildings at Bhatia Busti, Kishore Sangh and Durga Puja ground, Uliyan, in Kadma on Sunday. Around Rs 35 lakh was spent on the construction of the community buildings, sources said.
In his address, Roy said the community buildings will prove to be greatly beneficial for the local residents. He called on the people to participate in social activities and make ample use of the community building.
He said the state government was committed to the cause of the people. He said more infrastructure will be created for the benefit of the people.
The Jamshedpur MP too, assured to provide more facilities to the people of the city. He said the government was doing a lot for public welfare and development of basic infrastructure across the state.
Sources said the community buildings were built by the Urban Development Department of Jharkhand government.
Among others present on the occasion included the special officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Deepak Sahay, Deepu Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Anuj Choudhary, Manoj Singh and Gopal Jaisawal.
