Special activities planned from November 14 to 20

Jamshedpur, Nov 4: A meeting was held at the office of Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy to plan the Children’s Fair 2025, scheduled from November 14 to 20 at Bodhi Maidan, Garam Nala. The meeting, chaired by Saryu Roy, discussed detailed arrangements for the event and included several important suggestions and directives to ensure its success.
Fair Coordinator Sudhir Singh informed that various committees including a guiding committee, welcome committee, premises management committee and executive committee will soon be formed. These committees will include prominent city personalities, and NGO Krida Bharti will play a key role in organizing the event.
Efforts were underway to ensure participation from all city schools. Principals were being personally approached. Students can register through Google forms or offline modes. The fair will also feature exhibitions showcasing government schemes related to child welfare, magic and hand shows and an exhibition of heroic children whose life stories will inspire young visitors.
In addition, special sports events and art displays by children with disabilities will be organized. Their handmade items such as candles, rakhis, bangles and watches will also be exhibited. To maintain hygiene, only safe and child-friendly food stalls will be permitted. Cultural programs, including Chhau dance performances, will add to the festive atmosphere.
The meeting was attended by Ashok Goyal, Manju Singh, Rajiv Kumar, Sukhdev Singh, Satnam Singh, Anoop Kumar, Kundan Kumar, Rajesh Singh, and Subhash Prasad among others.
