CME can improve patient care: Dr Sanjay Kumar

Jamshedpur: The 45th workshop of Tata Motors Medical Society (TMMS) concluded on Sunday. On the last day of the workshop eminent scholars from the medical fraternity including Dr. Manoj Kumar Daga from BM Birla Hospital, Dr Ashok Dhar from Fortis Hospital Kolkata, Dr Sujeet Kumar Roy from Medica Hospital Kolkata impressed the gathering with their presentation. In this context, Dr Sanjay Kumar, Head, Medical Services, Tata Motors Hospital reiterated the need of continuous medical education (CME) to improve patient care. Dr Swastika Chakraborty, President of Tata Motors Medical Society and Dr Somnath Ghosh, secretary of the society thanked all the delegates for making this conference a grand success. Dr SK Srivastava, head of the department of medicine, Tata Motors hospital presided over as the chairperson in one of the scientific session.���

Tata Motors Hospital started its journey from a dispensary. Today there are 404 beds in the hospital. Modern healthcare facilities are available at the hospital today.

Bengali New Year Naba Barsha was celebrated at The Milanee in Bistupur on Sunday. The event started in the evening with the prize distribution ceremony. Musical evening was held where the club members performed. This was followed by Musical performance by Tulika Shome (Kolkata), She mesmerized the audience with the hit numbers.  President of the club Shekhar Dey, Hony. Gl. Secretary Raju Dutta, Jamshedpur MP Bidhut Baran Mahato and others were present.
