Jamshedpur, June 11 : Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday went Tata Main Hospital ( TMH) to meet former Congress MP from Singbhum Bagun Sumbrai, who is struggling for life from past several days.
Das went to intensive care unit where the veteran leader is being treated for multi organ failure. The Chief Minister met TMH general manager, Air Marshal (Dr.) Rajan Chaudhry, AVSM, VSM, (Retd.) and asked him to ensure best treatment for the leader.
He instructed the hospital authorities to take best care of the leader. He also wished Sumbrai speedy recovery.
Prominent politician who won as MP five times and MLA four, Sumbrai won Singhbhum seat since 1977 continued the winning streak till 1989. He won again in 2004. Sumbrai however lost to former Chief Minister Madhu Koda and stood third in the elections with 95,433 votes only in Lok Sabha 2009.
