CM Raghubar Das to flag off Tata-Jaipur direct train for Fagun Mela on March 15

Jamshedpur, Feb. 22: The Railways has announced special train from Tatanagar to Jaipur from March 15, 2016 on the occasion of the upcoming Fagun Mela at Khatu Dham in Rajasthan.

Central Shyam Samiti, Tatanagar, which organizes the proceedings for the devotees at Rajasthan, thanked the Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Jamshedpur MP Bidhut Baran Mahato, and railway minister Suresh Prabhu for starting this special train.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Mahaveer Agarwal, president of the Samiti said about1050 shyam devotees from Jamshedpur would travel in this special train having two 2nd AC, six 3rd AC, eight sleeper and three unreserved coaches.

He further informed that the train would depart from Tatanagar on Tuesday, March 15 at 3.30 p.m. and the samiti has invited CM Raghubar Das to flag off the train from Tatanagar railway station. The down train would leave Durgapura (near Jaipur) on Sunday, March 20 at 10.10 p.m.

Pavan Agarwal, secretary of the samiti, said,�Shyam devotees in Jamshedpur including the entire Kolhan region have expressed pleasure over the new train service. We are planning out things to make 100 financially weak people of the society visit Khatu Dham.�

According to sources, the trip for the deprived would be made low cost, but not free. For the devotees visiting the Khatu Dham the food and lodging facilities will be made available at Sri Shyam Kothi, Bhalubasa, Sri Shyam Prachar Sangh, Tatanagar, Sri Shyam Jagran Manch, Sakchi, and Kanpur Dharamshala.

Grand Nishan Yatra would commence from Parshurampuria Dharamshala, Ringas at 5 a.m. on March 17. Samuhik jap will be held at Tatanagar Dharamshala on March 18, while a kirtan will be organized at Kanpur Dharamshala on the occasion of Mahaekadashi, informed Pavan.

Anil Modi, Subhash Saha, Ashok Modi, Vimal Ringasia, Kedarnath Jasuka, Vijay Khemka, Ramawtar Agarwal and others were present at the meet.

Significantly, the issue of a direct train from Tata to Jaipur has been raised in the Lok Sabha several times by Jamshedpur MP Bidhut Baran Mahato and in Rajya Sabha by MP Pradeep Balmuchu.

Former Jamshedpur MP Ajoy Kumar, Arjun Munda, Suman Mahato, Sunil Mahato, Abha Mahato and Shailendra Mahato also raised the topic in the Lok Sabha, as there is large population of people from Rajasthan in Jamshedpur, who have been demanding direct train to visit their place of origin since a very long time.

Earlier, �CM JanSamwad Kendra� tweeted on February 18 at around 1 p.m. that train no. 18009 would depart from Tatanagar railway station for Jaipur on March 15 and posted a picture of Das along with Suresh Prabhu thanking the railway minister for taking the decision, which would benefit the devotees of Khatu Shyam in Rajasthan.
