Ranchi: Praising the officers and staff of the government for showing team spirit, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Jharkhand is proud to have become the first state in the country to have presented its budget for the Fiscal 2017-18.
“For the development of the nation, advance budget has been made. The departments should complete all formalities to implement the schemes on the floor before April sets in,” said the CM.
Referring to the budget, the CM said that it is a budget for the poor. It was presented on the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose because Netaji believed that the nation can prosper if budget is made in advance, he said.
Das said that Jharkhand has adopted many good and progressive changes.
“The system has changed into a work oriented culture. The government has made a favourable ambience for development and the results will be seen during Momentum Jharkhand. Saudi Arab will also invest in the state. There will be much investment in textile and food processing industries. The state is rich with resources and labor force.”
The CM felicitated Secretary Satyendra Singh, Budget Officer Surjit Mukharjee, Additional Director Pradip Kindo, Additional Secretary Gajendra Nath Ojha, IHD Director Harishwar Dayal including 20 personnel.
