CM orders promotion of anganwadi sevikas and sahiyas

Ranchi, Nov. 9: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that Health Minister and Welfare Minister should promote anganwadi sevikas and sahiyas by conducting district wise conference.

�The sevikas and sahiyas should be intimated about their work and people should be made aware about it. Health Department should form a cell to inform people about sevikas and sahiyas,� said the CM while holding a review of the Health Department�s works.

The CM directed Civil Surgeons and CDPOs to attend the conference. Sevikas and sahiyas doing good job should be awarded, he said.

Health Minister Ram Chandra Chandravanshi, Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma, Development Commissioner Amit Khare, Social Welfare Secretary M S Bhatia, Secretary Satyendra Singh and other officers were present in the meeting.
