Mumbai, Feb. 13: The world is looking up at the progressive India with hope of change, asserted Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration ceremony of maiden �Make in India week,� started today at Mumbai�s NSCI Auditorium.
He hoped that coming era will open new avenues for the investors in India. PM added the �Make in India week� will give a new boost to the manufacturing sector.
During his inaugural speech the Prime Minister mentioned about abundance of mineral resources in Jharkhand and the possibilities for the investors in the state.
While addressing the inaugural function, Chief Minister Raghubar Das invited the investors to Jharkhand. He said that his government has developed an investor friendly environment. The CM added that Investment in Jharkhand will give a much needed makeover in the system and will open new avenues for development in the state. He asserted that his government will offer all facilities to the investors.
During the inaugural function the CM welcomed the Prime Minister in traditional style of Jharkhand by offering him flower bouquet and a shawl. The Prime Minister visited Jharkhand pavilion with the Chief Minister after the inauguration ceremony. He praised the developmental work initiated by the Government of Jharkhand.
Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Group, Kumar Mangalam Birla of Mangalam Birla Group and many other corporate leaders also met the Chief Minister and discussed the possibilities of investment in Jharkhand.
With the participation of Premiers of Sweden & Finland, Deputy PM of Poland and dignitaries of other countries, the first �Make in India Week� started today at NSCI Auditorium at Worli Mumbai. Chief Ministers of 17 Indian States were also present at opening ceremony of �Make in India Week�.
Das will have direct conversation with investors on 17th of February during the sessions of event.
