Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das met Governor Syed Ahmed at Raj Bhavan and discussed matters related to academics.
In the meeting the chief minister requested the governor to appoint chancellor for Ranchi University and vice-chancellors for Sidho Kanhu and Nilambar Piambar University.
In the meantime heightened political activities began on the possible cabinet expansion.
It was said that the chief minister had also discussed the issue of cabinet expansion with the governor.
However, no official intimation has yet been issued on the matter.
