Mumbai, Feb 17: In the Make In India Week, Chief Minister Raghubar Das met the top film personalities like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher and appealed them to make their films in Jharkhand.
The CM invited the film personalities to come to Jharkhand in the Film Festival scheduled in April. Mr. Bachchan, Mr. Kumar and Mr. Kher consented to it. The industry people showed keen interest in the state film policy and shooting locations.
Assuring all the help in producing films, he told them about training and scholarship program of the state and invited them to come to Jharkhand, shoot their films and show it to people.
He said that their production of films in the state wills skill the local youths at large scale. He also intimated them about the provision of financial assistance the govt. has decided in the film policy. He said that their interest will boost up tourism of the state.
The film makers� interest in respect of Jharkhand was remarkable.
