Ranchi, March 31: Chief Minister Raghubar Das laid foundation stone of schemes worth Rs. 27,601.787 lakh in Godda on Thursday, including schemes worth Rs. 16,520.152 lakh for roadways, Rs. 1245.392 lakh under RDD and Rs. 5064 lakh under Rural Development Special Division.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed assets worth Rs. 3335.521 lakh, appointment letter to 35 persons, pradhani patta to five persons, forest right patta to 118 and ration cards to 1,00,000 beneficiaries.
Addressing the Asset and Appointment Distribution Fair in the historical Gandhi Maidan of Godda, Chief Minister Das said that work for the construction of 2400 dovas planned during Yojana Banao Abhiyan will begin from April 1 and be completed by June 15. He said that technical approval has been given for the of road roads worth Rs. 250 crore in the district and they will be constructed very soon.
Terming women as the axle of future, he said that 43 percent of the state�s budget for the 2016-17 fiscal has been provisioned for the up-gradation of the women.
E-rickshaws have been distributed among the beneficiaries at 75 percent subsidized prices by the government. In addition, Rs. 1138 crore has been given to 1.50 lakh people under the MUDRA loan.
People are being made aware of the schemes of the government through LED vans in all the districts of the state.
Agriculture minister Randhir Singh said that the government has given special focus on agriculture and irrigation. A special Krishi Budget has been presented in the Legislative Assembly.
MP Nishi Kant Dubey, MLAs Ashok Kr, Tala Marandi, DC, SP, DDC and other officers were present on this occasion.
