Ranchi, Nov. 7: Laying the foundation stone for Acharyakulam Vidyalaya here on Saturday, Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das said that Jharkhand produces amala, aloe vera, kalmegh, tomato, pea and other herbals in great quantities and Patanjali Yogpeeth can help the people by purchasing them from the state.
He said that food processing plant will be established in Jharkhand soon and the government is committed to make the territory an organic area.
Already 16,000 to 17,000 hectares have been targeted for organic cultivation in 2016. He thanked Baba Ramdev for conducting yoga camp with a view to make Jharkhand healthy. He was addressing the concluding ceremony of the yoga camp in Morabadi ground.
The CM said that corruption is the result of faulty education and emphasized on a wise amalgamation of traditional and new education policy.
Patanjali Yogapeeth is opening this school in collaboration with others on 10 acres of land and an investment of Rs.25 crore.
It will be completed in 2016 and 2,500 students will study in this school without any discrimination.
Baba Ramdev also reiterated the CM’s words saying that Jharkhand will be an ideal place for organic farming and food processing.
Ranchi MP Mr. Ramtahal Choudhary, Mandar MLA Mrs. Gangotri Kujoor, Ranchi Mayor Mrs. Asha Lakra, members and volunteers of Patanjali Yogapeeth and other people were present on this occasion.
