Chaibasa, May 20: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday inaugurated online a slew of government schemes worth Rs 52 crore at Chaibasa (West Singhbhum).
He announced that the government will launch rural bus service from June 1 and said it had taken initiatives to provide better services to the rural population. The bus service will provide easy transport for villagers, he said.
Das also released a video based on Panchayat secretariat. On this occasion , 51 panchayats were declared zero dropout by him. “We will ensure that mineral-abundant Jharkhand develops as number one state of the country. The government is working efficiently in bringing speedy development, providing basic amenities and improving policing. He also said that ensuring corruption free governance is his foremost priority.
The CM said that the idea to provide poor and less privileged class of the society with the welfare schemes being launched by the Union and State Government. “We are working in the direction to ensure that the image of mineral-abundant Jharkhand is not tarnished and develop it as number one state of the country,” he said.
The CM said that the State is rich with mineral resources and its optimum utilsation is the need of the hour. He said the people of the state would no longer be required to run from pillar to post to get caste, domicile and income certificates. These certificates will be prepared without delay and the same would be given to students at their addresses, he said.
Das said the block coordinators should discharge their duty of taking each and every government scheme to the villages of Jharkhand.
Also present on the occasion was the state education minister Neera Yadav who highlighted the achievements of her department at the programme. She said the government was working sincerely to ensure that all children get formal education.
