Jamshedpur, Aug 16: In spite of his hectic schedule Chief Minister Raghubar Das made time to visit Jamshedpur and have Rakhis tied by his sisters living here. His beaming sisters Prembati, Bedu Bai and Mahrin Bai had affection writ large on their faces as they tied Rakhis on the wrist of their brother Raghubar Das.
They stated that the very fact that their brother made time from his busy schedule to come down to Jamshedpur for Raksha Bandhan was a matter of pride and joy for them.

Commenting on the occasion the Jharkhand Chief Minister observed, My coming to the city for my sisters is a symbol for those who could not visit their sisters on this auspicious occasion because of their important responsibilities. Let us, on this occasion pledge to protect womens empowerment and provide them with respectability and good environment.

By tying Rakhi to my wrist my sisters have blessed me to keep on striving uninterruptedly for the states progress. This string, Rakhi, is a symbol of protection and promise in this very special brother-sister relationship. I wish all my sisters in the state a very happy Raksha Bandhan full of love and trust.
