Jamshedpur, April 17: The proposed construction of a railway over-bridge at Jugsalai is all set to become a reality soon, thanks to the initiative taken in this regard by Chief Minister Raghubar Das and the MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato.
Approached by the MP today, the CM gave his nod to pay the market value of the railway land going to be utilized in the said construction project.
“The CM has given his approval to the demand by the Railways for the market value of the railway land used in the project. This will certainly pave the way for ROB project which has long been pending due to some or the other technical difficulty,” said the MP after the meeting with CM.
The MP said the CM issued the orders to the Principal Secretary of road construction department Mast Ram Meena for intimating the South Eastern Railway authorities regarding the CM’s approval.
Meena would be sending a letter to the general manager of SER on Tuesday and requesting the railways to start the project work without any further delay.
Mahato said very soon the process of floating tenders will be started for the ROB construction. He said the people of the city had to be praised for their patience and efforts put in by them in raising the demand over the years.
