Ranchi, Oct 13: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has given his nod to the suspension of Kudu BDO Rajnish Kumar under Jharkhand Government Service Regulation (Classification, Regulation and Appeal) Rule 2016 9 (A).

Rajnish Kumar has been accused of employing an eight year girl, Shila Kumari as maid servant at his Ranchi residence.

The Labour Enforcement officer of Kanke (Ranchi), sent a show cause notice to Kumar under Prohibition and Regulation Act 1986 (Sec 3) and directed him to deposit Rs 20 thousand. Rajnish Kumar answered the notice and deposited the money as per directive.

Rajnish Kumars depositing the amount prima facie amounts to acknowledgement of the accusation against him. Being a government servant the case takes on a serious dimension and is a violation of Jharkhand Government Employees Conduct Regulation 1976 Rule 3(1 and 3).

Rajnish Kumar will report to the Divisional Commissioners headquarters, South Chhotanagpur Division at Ranchi.
