Ranchi, Aug. 24: Chief Minister Raghubar Das directed to constitute University Service Commission to appoint university teachers.
He said it while reviewing High and Technical Education Department.
Directing High and Technical Education Department, Mr. Das said that model design and model estimate for 61 new degree colleges and 39 polytechnics should be prepared soon to start the work.
Apart from appointment process of teachers and staff, electricity, drinking water, bench-desk and all arrangements should be ensured so that after completion of the building, teaching can be resumed.
He said to start 7 new colleges in 2017, 12 in 2018 and 50 in 2019. Advance planning should be done to complete all works in timeframe. He asked to provide land to Amity University.
The CM said that separate cells should be constituted for workers and dropout children. This cell should form a team under a capable person of the area and hand him over the management of the college.
High Education Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh said that the govt. is considering about providing Wi-Fi in the campus. A team is being constituted to review repairing work in old colleges.
Chief Secretary Mrs. Raj Bala Verma, Development Commissioner Amit Khare, Addl. Chief Secretary R. K. Srivastava, Principal Secretary to the CM Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal and other officers were present on this occasion.
