CM decries negative politics and thinking

Ranchi : Deploring negative thinking and negative politics, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that such ways may bring people in the limelight but they can hardly do any good to the society, state or nation.

In such situation, the role of nation building and positive political forces increases. The Hindustan News is developing with such thinking. The CM said this when addressing people after inaugurating Jharkhand Vikas Samvad Program conducted by the Hindustan News.

Laying emphasis on policy run govt., the CM said that rules have been simplified and policies for the masses have been made and implemented with positive thinking. He said that poverty is scar and it has to be eliminated from the state. Poor women of the state are being given two cows for becoming self-dependent.

The CM said that in the last 20 months, the govt. has attracted Rs. 21,000 cr. investment which is gradually seen on ground. Work has been started for IT park, food processing units, cement plants and educational institutions. Higher Education and Health are the govt.�s priorities.

He said that Ranchi can be developed as IT and Medical hub of east India and Adityapur as an automobile hub. The govt. tries to reach even remote villages with medical facilities. B. Sc. pass youths are being trained in three year diploma course and after result, they will be appointed in primary treatment centers to assist ANMs.

The govt. is going to start work to provide people medical facilities through telemedicine. Moreover, educational institutions are being strengthened with maximum use of IT.

The CM said that the govt. is working on the concept of transparent and accountable governance.

People�s participation in governance is ensured and local carpenters are provided bench-desk making work for schools. Village women are being connected with Jharcraft and given the assignments of blanket, towel and school dress making.

Panchayat secretariats have been formed to help the mukhiyas who will discuss management matters of importance and development with selected members of secretariats block-wise. CSR council has been formed in the state and 1% fund is deposited in it. This fund will be expensed on toilet construction in the state.

Union Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Mr. Sudarshan Bhagat, Rajya Sabha MP R. K. Sinha and Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar also addressed the programme.

Head Editor of the Hindustan News Rakesh Munjal, Editor, Yathavat Ram Bahadur Rai, CCL CMD Gopal Singh and other important people were present on this occasion.
