Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today corrected media reports about his statement given in the public on terming the quitting of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha by Hemlal Murmu and Vidyut Varan Mahato as beneficial for the party.
He was reported as equating the quitting of JMM by the MLAs with the purging of body after blood donation. The CM found himself to be in the wrong footing today as he tried to improve on his earlier statement. He said he just meant to speak on the benefits of blood donation.
He said he had taken an initiative to organize a blood donation camp at the Secretariat in Project Building for the first time. He said his statement should not be distorted or misconstrued by anyone.
The CM had arrived yesterday in the city to accompany JMM candidate for Jamshedpur Parliamentary polls Niroop Mohanty during his filing of nomination at the office of the deputy commissioner.
