Each Panchayat to receive Rs 10 lakhs
Chaibasa : The Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren on Thursday made a slew of announcements while distributing loans and inaugurating welfare schemes during Vikash Mela at Singhbhum Sports Association ground in
Hemant promised Rs 10lakh grant to each Panchayat to ensure the progress of the villages. The CM said the
welfare schemes should keep the common man in focus and that the people too, should keep their eyes open to find out what was right and wrong. He stressed upon timely implementation of all schemes.
He said the government had ambitious plans to keep the state on the fast track to progress. He said the mukhiyas and councilors will be authorized and instructed to keep an eye on proper implementation of Government schemes. He said the government was all set to ensure welfare of the downtrodden and marginalized sections of the society through the implementation of these projects.
” We want to strengthen Public Distribution System in the State and want to ensure that the people get the benefits,”
noted the CM. He also informed that the Government plans to distribute more items as part of the PDS.
He also handed over appointment letters to 24 people. During the mela as part of the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana 261 girls were benefitted. While 315 beneficiaries were benefitted from Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana.
The Chief Minister further said that the loans were distributed under various ambitious projects of the government including the Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana, and numerous other schemes will help people.
He said the government departments were working hard to implement the plans as soon as possible. “I appeal to the banks to grant easy loans to the rural people so that they can benefit out of it,” said Soren. He also harped on the inclusive growth of the locals along with industrial progress.
Soren also said that people of the region have not developed in proportion to the mineral resources extracted from there region.
