Ranchi, Dec. 11: Inaugurating the first Jharkhand Rajya Pratham Sachetak Sammelan 2015 conducted by the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, Government of Jharkhand, on Friday, the Chief Minister Raghubar Das emphasized on strengthening the parliamentary system of democracy.
The Chief Minister said that public representatives, officers and staff should set precedents by working honestly for the masses.
Das said that the motto of governance is to extend development to the deprived and marginalized sections of the society.
He said that the Assembly or Parliament is a place for discussion and they should be careful enough that the aspirations and necessities of the people should find expression in their discussion. According to the Chief Minister, the members should listen to other respectable members and criticize them in a healthy and creative way.
The CM laid stress on remaining present during the sessions, especially in the second sitting.
Speaker Dr. Dinesh Uraon, Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren, ministers, MLA�s and senior officers were present on this occasion.
