Cleanliness messages dominate Marwadi Samaj get-together

Jamshedpur: The Sakchi unit of the Jila Madwadi Sammelan, organized a get-together program and picnic in Jubilee Park today. More than 300 families comprising 1,100 men, women and children from Sakchi, Bistupur, Jugsalai and Mango participated in the program organized at the Picnic Spot in Jubilee Park.
There were banners propagating cleanliness some of which were, don�t waste food, food in your plate should not go down the drain, etc. These messages written on banners and placards were beautifully rhymed in Hindi and caught the attention of all attending the get-together and picnic.
Sports and fun games were organized for kids and women while the elderly participated in Antakshari. Winners were awarded prizes. The sports and other competitive items were organized by Babita Ringsia, Rekha Agrawal, Kusum Ringsia, Uma Agrawal, Asha Jhajria, and Bajrang Agrawal. Lunch comprised delicious foodwith a touch of Rajasthani culinary culture.
After the picnic got over, all members of the community cleaned the picnic spot that reflected their seriousness about the cleanliness drive.
The success of this get-together and picnic was largely due to Madwadi Mahasammelan district president Umesh Shah, Sakchi branch president Omprakash Ringsia, Kolhan spokesperson Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Mahaveer Prasad Modi, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Ramkishan Chaudhary, Girdhari Debuka, Suryagyan Chowdhary, Umesh Kauntia, Santosh Agrawal, Ramesh Moonka, Sitaram Debuka, Omprakash Sanghi, Chhedi Agrawal and others.
